Philosophy

The Flatbush Seventh-day Adventist School is a K-8 grade school, established by the Flatbush Seventh-day Adventist Church, Brooklyn, New York, to provide Christian education for its children and youth. Failures

Parents should be notified when a child is failing academically, and in discipline.

Exception to this rule will only be made when in counsel with the parent/guardian, teacher, and principal it is believed a grade would be of absolutely no benefit to this child.

Occasionally, the principal and teacher may strongly recommend summer school for a student who receives a "D" in more than one subject for the year.
